Do You Need a Website?

Here are some points to consider if you think you need or want a website.
- What audience do you want to reach?
- What information can you provide more effectively with a website than in person, by mail or by phone?
- Are you prepared to spend the time required to develop the content for the site?
- Are you willing to provide updates to your content as needed?
If you've decided that a website will enhance your organization, give me a call and we can discuss what your website
would entail. Here's what you need to have decided:
- Approximately how many pages you will need
- Whether you have images for the site or would like me to supply them (Either way the cost is the same.)
- Whether you need any fill-out forms on your site and what they would do
- Whether you would like to maintain the site yourself or have me maintain it.
- Whether branding will be implemented (logo(s), colors, "feel") There is no extra charge for branding. If you can supply branding
information (in digital or print form) this is very helpful to me.
I'll send you an estimate for your approval. Then we'll set up a time table for completion. The turnaround for a website is
usually around three weeks depending on how many customers I am working with currently. The following are the things I
need to complete your site in a timely manner:
- All content written and organized into into pages in word processed form
- Images or ideas for images and where they will go
- Links that are to appear within your content
- Branding materials in print or electronic format if you are implementing branding.
